100% feel that way about landmarks like Mount Rushmore and the Grand Canyon ect. I’ve seen pictures all my life I don’t need to see it in person and I’m gonna get bored after a few minutes

Appreciation comes from understanding the level of intricacy, skill, work, genius, time, etc. that went into making a building or artwork. Also doing things by hand and the quality back then vs today
