I'm so glad more therapists are recognising PTSD and CPTSD (I have the latter along with a bunch of comborbidities and am neurospicy, super fun 😂). If CPTSD is not in the DSM it should be soon!!

i recently got told i’ve been diagnosed with cptsd for a while and my foremost response has been to dissociate myself from my trauma by convincing myself that it isn’t important enough (1/?)

As someone who hated getting “another diagnosis”, thank you for sharing. My therapist and I have talked about a possible ptsd diagnosis but we’re dealing with other major issues before she finalizes/1

Not long ago C-PtSD & ADHD diagnosed. A special moment with my psychiatrist was when he told me I have C-PTSD, &I quickly said yeah, & he must of known I was just agreeing & not taking it in (1)
