Kelowna, BC is the same. bachelor suites for $2k, 1b 1b for $2500-3000. plus cost of utilities, groceries, vehicle insurance, gas...it's ridiculous.

About tipping: if you can’t afford to tip , make it yourself, learn to cook, grow your own salad, brew your own coffee. It’s not complicated.

It’s beyond expensive- my insurance for cars- we have 4, over 10k a year. Tipping is crazy too.
