I had known AK for years, but I started falling for her at a birthday party, where she wore the most adorable black dress, we danced, and took “prom pictures” at the photo booth, since she had never had a prom when she was growing up. I was beyond confused about how I felt. I just knew I always wanted to be around her. I always wanted to be looking into her eyes. I always wanted to see her smile. The night we first kissed, I knew there was no going back. Against all odds, I found the love of my life. I wanted to hold onto this feeling forever. Falling in love has been the most wonderful learning process of my life. Songs have new meaning. I have a renewed purpose in life. The world looks different.
