I always thought not having a shoulder strap would make you be cut in half if in an accident. Maybe something my mom told me when I was young 🤷🏻♀️😅

I have a seatbelt safety question My Nephews (he’s 4) Mom lets him ride with the top seatbelt behind him because of where it hits his neck instead of his shoulder. 1/2

I agree as parents we need to do better at teaching our children the reasons we wear seat belts. I have a 9yr old and ever since he was very small I have always been firm on “safety first” and saying

If this is in a proper use state and you get into a car accident and you weren’t using the car seat correctly. I don’t think that insurance has to cover any injuries that your child receives.

my shoulder belt not only saved my life as a child, but I was sitting on the lap belt and it didn't do its job, that made the shoulder belt do A LOT of internal damage. Seatbelts ARE IMPORTANT!👏
