Every county council in the UK has a MOT testing station they cannot do any repair work so there is no financial advantage to “fail” you car.

Had a mot at Halfords surprise it failed. They said emissions and cost £275 to fix.Took it to my mechanic he flushed the fuel filter said blast it down the dual carriageway. It passed retest 👍🏻
