I did a driving experience day on a pacer in South Wales, I loved driving the pacer, it's so easy once you get used to the leavers and switches!

My first ever traction back in 1995. Drove them for 6 years. Nightmare in the leaf fall season. So light and just a single axle for the wheels…..Great fun when time wasn’t money!

Bombing along the WCML at 75 was always a great experience. I was lucky enough to get plenty of cab rides elsewhere and the drivers all loved them when it wasn't too hot or cold ha. Great on CWR

I've worked both of them many times in the past. It's amazing how much us traincrew miss them. I worked bus 36 more than bus 17. I remember when 36 was a bit of a noisy bugger
