@bellisbotanicals: Here is what I have learned making resin butterfly earrings for the first time: Okay, I have worked with resin for over 4 years so the second part of this process was pretty simple BUT I think next time I will add less resin because these are pretty heavy the larger the wing is! For the laminating process: next time I will cut the wings out with a little more space to make sure it stays sealed very well. For these I ended up doing a thin layer of resin along the edges to make sure it is sealed. Plus, I received some other great tips from you all. My colors always fade out of the wings in resin. Do you seal them somehow first? I thought about trying Elmer’s glue or modge podge before resin.
