booking.com is terrible, they skirt laws to avoid refunds at all costs. Once I tried to cancel a flight within my 24 hour right to withdraw (us law for flights) and they wouldn't let me

I tried booking.com in Hungary 8 yrs ago. I think the photo used was 15 yrs before I got there!! no one checks these places before they are advertised on line!!
