#creatorsearchinsights In order to build muscle you should eat like this— Bulking and cutting does not benefit muscle growth. If it did then you wouldn’t be able to gain any muscle on a cut, obesity would not exist, and muscle gaining would be energy dependent not stimulus dependent. For those wanting the information about my sources, specifically the 2023 study since a few of you guys couldn’t look up the title properly, here is the citation in its entirety in AMA format: Helms ER, Spence AJ, Sousa C, et al. Effect of Small and Large Energy Surpluses on Strength, Muscle, and Skinfold Thickness in Resistance-Trained Individuals: A Parallel Groups Design. Sports Med Open. 2023;9(1):102. Published 2023 Nov 2. doi:10.1186/s40798-023-00651-y The best way to gain muscle is ironically at true maintenance calories which accounts for the estimated body muscle mass gain over time; this is maybe an extra 100-200 calories per day and is not all that much to even call a “slight surplus” but of course that is my personal opinion. Finally, please do not comment about “what if someone is overweight or underweight” that is why I said “if someone is at a healthy body fat” at the very beginning. If you are severely overweight or underweight please do not try to “maintain” your way to a healthy body fat percentage. That is not how thermodynamics work. #scientificsnitch #bulking #cutting #gym #gymmotivation #GymLife #gymrat #gymgirl #Fitness #fitnesstips #fitnessmotivation #gymtips #healthydiet #health #healthyeating #weightlossjourney #GymTok #FitTok #fyp
