@jesseitzler: If your networking and want to STAND out from the crowd, this is one thing I do that doesn’t cost a lot of money… Not everyone gets their emails (they may have assistants that screen them), not everyone checks messages, but most people read their own mail. Handwritten letters also come with a whole different energy. They require time, thought, intent and they stand out. In 1993 I sent about 10 letters a day. 3,000 letters in one year… I was 25. I didn’t have much money to market or network and that was my marketing plan. I didn’t do it for sales, I was planting seeds. If you helped me in business, you got a letter…if you were in my industry, you got a letter, if I met you at a meeting…you got a letter. I don’t send 3,000 anymore… but I STILL send a lot of letters. It’s paid major dividends throughout my life. People don’t forget when they get a letter.
