@theaussierapunzel: From matted to silky 🦢🎀🪽🩷 this is how I detabgle my matted, bleached hair limiting breakage: Step 1: add a silicone based oil all throughout your ends or matted areas. This is going to help smooth your hair, detangle, and limit breakage. Step 2: do not brush, BLOWDRY! If you have straight hair like me, your hair is most fragile when it is wet and brushing it this will cause a lot of breakage. Therefore, blow dry your hair until it is completely dry (or until your arms hurts lol). Step 3: once your hair is dry, section and start brushing your hair from your ends to your roots using a detangling brush. This technique allows your hair to separate from the knot easily, and isolate the knot so that it can be dealt with. My transformation at the end shows how well this technique works.
