Legit had a rapid at 6:30 and the ED was trying to call report as if she didn’t hear the RRT called over head for our unit 😭

As a floor nurse I feel like this is the best time. Get them in the room, go through the questions and then pass them off to next shift when orders come through 😂😅

Our ER has to call report by 6:30 or we don’t take the pt until after shift change. They also have to transport the pt by 6:45 and of not they have to wait to bring them up until after shift change

on my floor it’s usually just two or three of us, we will be waiting by that phone for the report call and then we all pop into the room like meerkats when the patient shows up at 0630
