@happii.bros: Spotted this guy in the distance, looking amazing - shirtless and super fit, fresh from a run. No way I was letting this chance pass by. Walked right up and asked if he'd be down for a portrait. He was totally into it. Seeing him so comfortable and natural in front of the camera, it clicked - he probably had some modeling experience. Turns out, I was right. He used to be a model back in France. The photos came out incredible. Street portraits with John. . . . This street portrait project is actually a triple threat for me – pushing my introverted self to face the fear of approaching strangers, practicing my English (which I have felt really insecure about for years), and honing my photography skills.
