plus Australia exports far more gas than it uses. gas that gets burnt overseas. why not use it here instead (for baseload)?

wind turbines produce 1000 watts per hour nuclear power station produces 7.2 million kW per hour so you will need to fill the outback with 720k wind turbines to equal 1 power plant .
