Packed with veggies and protein, salads seem like a nutritional powerhouse. HOWEVER we need to understand that not all salads are created equal, especially when the goal is fat loss. Some salads can be a good choice! They aren’t all this calorie dense. Some other restaurant tips: Choose smart sides. Beware of dressings. (Opt for a lower calorie option and order on the side) Plan to take some home if the portions are huge. Choose lean protein. (Grilled over fried/crispy) Drink lots of water.
