This doesn’t make sense. You have the breaks press down, you can shift to P position without a problem, pull the handbrake and release the foot breaks, done

or... and hear me out... don't tell me how to park. my driveway is a hill. I go from drive to park, but don't take my foot off the brake, e- brake, slowly release for brake. 👏
