To do this, you need to ensure you’re not just turning your trunk along with your arm as you move through the motion. Suppose you turn your trunk as your arm moves (or you use the exact same ROM as the traditional version). In that case, you’re not doing anything distinct from the original variation (which, by the way, is a perfectly fine variation to choose if you like it more).
