it happend to me! i dont have a strap like yours but i use a baby dog collar to attach to both the normal collar and the leash rhat is attached to the prong. i aint making the same mistake again 😅

Have had the prong collar pop off at a dog park before (not in it, around it) TERRYFYING, I now always have a clip attaching the prong to the flat

We always use a backup. My girl’s prong came undone and she was loose in a vineyard when she was young and didn’t have great recall yet 🙈

I’ve learned (and from experience) that the ones that pop off are the black coated ones and silver ones. The chrome ones are more liable

my dogs collar came off as we'd sized it wrong he was fine and didn't notice but my mums broke the prong and I had to chase him down the street at like midnight
