YES! It took me FOREVER to learn it. My tutor would tell me “The present conjunctive possessive blah blah” and I’d tell him “Gianfranco, I DONT KNOW THOSE IN ENGLISH!!!!” 🤣

It’s the same in Spanish, French etc. Just pick the constructions that you will use the most like ‘I think’ and practice that first.

In the Croatian language, we have 7 cases, 10 verb tenses and modes, basic 10 voice changes (24 with dialects). Italian is simpler than Croatian❤️

Most people don't realise we have this in English: 1. Indicative: She visitS. Subjunctive: They suggest she visiT. 2. Ind: I WAS. Subj: I wish I WERE. 3. Ind. He IS. Subj. I wish that he BE.

When we speak English, we don’t think about the tenses that we are using. But they’re similar to Italian tenses.
