Also the same here in Central TX where we currently live. Our kids can’t afford to buy here… we have to try to keep our home for them if anything just to give them a chance to have a home… it is crazy

This is all soooo true! I am a FL native… the goal was always to be able to move back home once our parents needed us now that they are older and needing assistance. We can’t find anything affordable.

This! Austin is a HOT mess because we had a mass influx of tech workers in 20-21, no rent control protections + folks property taxes went up 30% in 3 years so healthcare is awful in atx right now.
