@_cookim_: Easy Kimchi ASMR Ingredients - 1 Napa cabbage - gochugaru - 1 Onion - 300g Spring onions - 200g Garlic (adjustable) - Fish sauce - Sugar - Salt - MSG (secret ingredient) - Cooked rice Seasoning (for 1 Napa cabbage) - Blend 1 onion, 200g garlic (adjustable), 100g water, 1 tablespoon MSG, 100g fish sauce, and 150g cooked rice (vegetable paste). - Cut spring onions into 3 cm pieces. - Mix 200g gochugaru with the vegetable paste and spring onions. - Taste and adjust seasoning with fish sauce if needed. Recipe (for 1 Napa cabbage) 1. Quarter the Napa cabbage. 2. Sprinkle 1 cup of salt between the cabbage leaves. 3. Let it salting at room temperature for 4-6 hours. 4. Rinse the cabbage three times with water. 5. If the cabbage is still too salty after rinsing, soak it in water for about 30 minutes to remove excess salt (the best state is neither too bland nor too salty). 6. season salted cabbage layer by layer. 7. Ferment at room temperature for 3-4 days, then store in the refrigerator (instead of using an airtight container, it’s recommended to use a plastic bag for room temperature fermentation, and transfer to a storage container for refrigeration). Tips - When fermenting at room temperature for 3 days, if the container is filled to the brim, it might burst due to the gases produced during fermentation. Therefore, it’s recommended to use a plastic bag that has room for the gas to expand. #kimchi
