What’s wild is I found one of those keyboard YESTERDAY at goodwill and had no idea what it was other than “cool keyboard” for $5 ; now I see post like this talking about. Guess I need another monitor

I code off a single laptop screen but I use one gazillion virtual desktops / workspaces. It's completely made having more than one monitor irrelevant. its legit better for me

3 is fine 2 horizontal 1 vertical. The 4th is a second computer that's lower specs to trial your code. I always trial code on a separate machine. You can Virtual computer it to I guess on a 4th screen

Enough is enough :
I have 3. 4K for coding. Turned my old full HD vertical. I have things like Teams on there. And the laptop screen usually is switching between webcams of places we went on holiday 😁

I find 4 to be the optimal amount. 1 monitor for the debug environment, 1 monitor for the code, 1 monitor for YouTube, and the last one for discord and the 2nd chrome tab
