As a Floridian that’s visited Europe during heat snaps it is 1000% worse in Europe. Try eating in a restarting pumping out heat from the kitchen. Sleeping hot. Etc. there’s just no break

Girl, you reached your target audience. American in London that’s also from the Midwest. The heat is so different here.

There’s no AC here. I’ve been tempted to hang out in Tesco’s freezer aisle on those days.

we'll see a lot of tiktoks from Africans, Australians and Mediterranean people posting about insufferable English summer heat is soon. this is why the weather is such a big topic of conversation in UK

People saying get AC, we’re lucky if we get 2 weeks of heat a year, it doesn’t financially make sense to buy AC. It isn’t cheap

One of the best ways to explain it. Well done! That’s the one thing I’ve tried to explain and got no where. British homes are made to keep heat in, our windows aren’t built for aircon units etc.

This is my fav genre of video. It hits different when it’s hot - 41°C in 2022 was unbearable, I’d just had a c section and had to be hospitalised I was so unwell!

I live in Dublin and last year the Dublin train system shut down one day cause the train tracks overheated. Everyone had to get off and walk while with no water or shade. It was brutal for them.
