@lifeaftergrownkids: I am learning to embrace this new chapter with a heart full of cherished memories and I am excited for the future. After my kids made me an empty nester, I lost my purpose. Every day revolved around them. I wasn’t even aware of that until they left home. 😥 I needed something to fill me up again, something that fulfilled me, giving me a new purpose. Not sure that I was looking for that purpose online, but that is exactly where I found it! I took a chance(boy I was skeptical at 54) to learn some new skills online. Not sure why I was so afraid, people take online classes all the time now. Once I dived into this digital world, my heart led me here. There were so many options to follow my passions. The course I took was beginner friendly and tech helpful, I needed that😜 I love sharing what worked for me, in case it can work for others feeling at a loss like I was.
