I wanted to go to a owl café so bad. But when I saw that they were all chained and work mostly on day light, I restrained myself. Even tho olws are my fave animal in the whole world

it's my dream to hold an otter so I looked into cafes and found the same info 😭 not ethical at all. I feel so heartbroken for these poor animals especially having an anxious animal myself

This is really disappointing as the owl cafe and capybara ones were on my list. I don’t think I will do the owl one anymore. 🥲

I went to a cat cafe but this one was for rescue cats "Asakusa Nekoen", some even were for adoption so, you just have to choose wisely

in general, please avoid animal cafes esp animals that aren’t usually kept as pets. for pet animals, research before giving them your money and make sure the animals are treated well

I went to a reptile cafe in Osaka and it was a terrible experience, as a reptile owner I couldn’t believe the conditions they were in and felt so bad being there, thank you for spreading awareness

I went to an owl cafe before all the TikTok tourism it was all locals and quiet it was nice. And went to a reptile cafe it was chill too
