@mr_hamlets: A shooting that happened in the early hours on a residential street has led to two suspects being arrested after the BMW they were driving was linked to the incident. The incident happened at around 1.45am on Monday June 17 in Shandy Street, Tower Hamlets. A firearm was discharged which caused damaged to a residential property but thankfully no one was injured as a result. A fast-time investigation led by specialist Trident detectives from the Met’s Specialist Crime Command identified a black BMW car linked to the suspects. This car was stopped nearby and two men were arrested and subsequently charged with firearms offences.
