I'm a 70's baby and when I was a kid there was a story in the news about a nurse that took a baby right out of the hospital. A second news story some years later was about babies that got switched

I’m surprised. In the delivery room with my son the minute he was born he and I got matching bracelets. The numbers on them were checked periodically. I can’t believe all hospitals don’t do that. Wow!

The hospital where my second child was born did not ever remove the baby from our room and they put a bracelet on me and the baby that would trigger an alarm if we got like 20 ft from each other
