@the_avantgarde: #HomeDepotPartner I used to dream of having rooms like these as a kid. When we first migrated to the US from Brazil, we lived with family for some time before my parents could afford to rent an apartment, where my brother and I shared a room together. We were always taught to be grateful for having a roof over our heads, but being grateful didn’t stop me from daydreaming of fun, cool rooms. I’d save catalogues, magazines — anything and everything that showcased fun kids rooms as inspiration. I didn’t know when or if they would ever come in handy, but I hoped. I had forgotten some of these memories until a few weeks ago when I saw these furniture pieces on the @The Home Depot knew it was time to fulfill that dream. I’m so fortunate to have had this opportunity, thanks to you guys and to #homedepot — couldn’t have done this without you.
