The bottom of your feet can get sunburned, but the thick layer of dead skin on the soles can reduce the amount of UV light that reaches the living layers of skin underneath

Soles of your feet rarely sunburn as an adult simply because the skin is tougher since you walk barefoot. Babies/young kids will sunburn
