Push in before pulling the connector works most the time unless the vehicle is 10 years old. On those onces I just tell customers that plastic will break and we will fix it best as we can

Yes yes and yes. Pick to pry the clip, push in, then pull out. If it doesn’t come easily I spray a touch of silicone lube and then electronics cleaner on the contacts once disconnected

Hit it with brake clean and compressed air helps to clear obstructive debris so it is much easier to remove.
