I want you to keep going.  I know it can be extremely hard, many time very very discouraging and demotivating.  But 1 thing that you need to know is: you are in charge of your body.  When I stopped competing  many asked me why I kept on training and how I could find myself motivated to do so without a specific goal in mind. For me it is not about having an end goal because:  1️⃣ I really love lifting weights, because of how it makes me feel and makes me function  2️⃣ I have experienced that my body keeps on changing so I should keep on working with it, because of the simple reason: I can.  2 years back I went on a dedicated surplus to let go of a couple negative thinking/ food restrictions I had attained & because I wanted to put some more mass on the body parts I saw was lacking.  📝 Sidenote; I am one of those that believe (and have seen proof of) that we do not all have to be on a surplus to gain muscle mass so my surplus was more for my mental growth than anything else.  With that decision I also became very hungry on feeling the challenge that comes with being on a deficit. But to ensure I don’t end up in a restrictive thinking again I have taken my time to get to where I am now.  I am now able to see the difference I started to visualize 2 years ago, the growth of my legs, shoulders and glutes, and that makes me so darn excited. And it fuels my tank to keep doing what I do regardless of competing or not.  So again: keep going my friend. Don’t give up on honoring your wishes, don’t skip out on your evolution as a human being physically and mentally.
