@thecanadianjetsetter: One card earning with a low annual fee is enough to get you round trip lie-flat seats to Europe... truly crazy stuff. You'd do this through transferring the Amex Membership Rewards points to British Airways Avios and then searching for off-season rates on Iberia Airlines. You're best bet will be NYC JFK or Boston to Madrid for 35,000 points (one-way), book there and back and you're golden!!
