all jokes aside nutrition is super important and access to adequate nutrition and supplemental nutrition is a privilage. I can take in enough to not be *starving* but not enough to keep my bloodwork from showing malnutrition. This is an improvement from before MALS surgery which I am thankful for. But Ive been told by many doctors (ofc not the ones that would help and give me nutition), and they said theyre surprised af how long ive been sustaining without any supplemental nutrition. I've had GI issues for so long I don't know what normal eating looks like it took me a long time to realize that I cannot sustain myself long term with what I'm doing right now but this is what we're doing in the short term because doctors are dumb. I started the day with half a peanut butter sandwich and I was trying to get in enough protein so that's what I was doing with the peanut butter and then I did my mixture of Miralax cromolym and liquid IV to take my meds thankfully didn't have to be fasting because I forgot I had to go get blood. and then later after my job I got a five piece chick fil a with some salt uh it was so good for dinner we had this leftover marry me chicken it's quite literally my favorite dish you guys need to look up the recipe and I ate a good bit.
