Is this the best hidden viewpoint in Florence? 🇮🇹🍕🍷 Most people go up to the very crowded Piazzale Michelangelo for sunset… but just a short 5 minute walk further is the Basilica di San Miniato! Right down the stairs from here is an iconic viewpoint along the Via delle Porte Sante. You will still get some crowds, but I think it’s definitely more of a hidden gem! So we grabbed a takeaway pizza and a bottle of wine and stayed up here for a few hours enjoying the views and relaxing!
