Bardia Shojaeifard knifed 15-year-old Alfie 'in full view' of pupils outside a primary school in Horsforth, in Leeds, last November. Alfie's killer was 14 years old at the time he took a six-inch long kitchen knife from home and plunged it into the teenager's heart. Shojaeifard, who has been identified for the first time today, was 'outwardly normal' teenager from an Iranian background who had a 'worrying interest in knives'. Shojaeifard can be named publicly for the first time after the judge, Mr Justice Cotter, lifted reporting restrictions preventing him from being identified.
