@the_vintage_journal: Slow, meditative painting this morning after an emotional evening.😔 Momma Apple and Baby Willow didn’t visit last night. I was extremely worried. Well, I took a walk to look around and about a quarter mile down from our house, in the road, was a raccoon that had passed. Sadly, I think it was her.😭 Mr. Vintage brought a shovel so we could at least get her out of the road. No sign of baby Willow. The reality is, without a mother’s protection, a predator probably got her.💔 I’m hoping beyond hope I’m wrong and that they both show up tonight.
