@travelercharly: There's nothing ethical about investing. And that's not your problem. Either you decide to work FOR a company and enrich it with your time and labor, OR you decide to invest passively in a company and profit from it so that you won't have to work forever. I don't want you to work forever. I want you to see investing as a means to an end within a privatized, capitalistic system so that you can take care of yourself FIRST. Then when you're good, you can divest from ALL these companies. That's my plan.
