Best hidden gem in Singapore 💎 📍National Gallery Singapore The National Gallery Singapore is a public art and culture museum that is free to enter and explore. Did you know that the National Gallery Singapore has the largest collection of modern art from Singapore and Southeast Asia! You can explore their incredible art by attending their paid art exhibitions and or going on any of their free/paid tours to explore the museum and learn more about its artwork and history 🖼️ I went on the building highlights tour and was able to learn more about the building and its significance and dive deeper into Singapore’s history. Interestingly, the museum actually houses the former City Hall and Supreme Court. They connected the two buildings with 2 bridges to protect their beautiful architecture. You can also go on the Back-of-House Former Supreme Court: Unseen, Unheard tour to learn more about the Supreme Court, see its restricted areas of the former Supreme Court, go behind the scenes to learn about courtroom proceedings, and experience how it was to be on trial 🧑‍⚖️ Tip: this is one of my favorite hidden parts of this gallery I unexpectedly found: the Padang Deck.
