My mom has dementia and this past year has been really hard for the family. It's such a cruel disease and I often find myself wondering how different life would be now if my mom is well. I miss her.

My husband is 36, we have 2 kids. His parents passed away at age 50 and 60. His mom barely knew our first born. Neither knew our second. Life is hard knowing my kids will never have that side of fam.
