For anyone who doesn’t know about rip current, never ever ever fight it. Go with it as scary as it is and you will move down the ocean line , never fight it. So sorry for their loss

I almost drowned in a rip current at Huntington Beach in California around 2016, I barely made it back & I’m a strong swimmer..

I got pulled into a rip current, a guy tried to help me but I was pushing him under water. his friends made a human chain to get us out. I'm so thankful that they were all there that day 🙏🏻

If you’re ever caught it a rip current. Swim the opposite direction of the current. For example; if the current is pulling you vertically. Swim horizontally out of it. PRAYERS TO THE FAMILY 😓🙏🏾

It happened to me and my boy once and we were swimming in the same spot for 10 minutes. If the lifeguard didn’t save us we’d be cooked i was seconds away from a cramp too
