we got lucky with our house. both bathrooms have bars in the shower/tubs. the master even has a full shower next to the tub, enclosed by a door. 😁

I have POTS and hEDS making showering difficult but then I also have PTSD ontop with flashbacks too. Makes every shower a complete nightmare

I got lucky and had someone give me a shower chair. It's been such a lifesaver! Even with taking cooler showers, I still get woozy from washing my hair, shaving, etc, so it's nice to have it!

As for the approval process, as soon as they put the order in it was out of my hands and 2 months later they delivered the bench 🙌

Even tho I have a shower chair I still do shaving out of shower cuz I can’t get up from my shower chair after a while. But everything else is standing but the shower chair is a blessing during flares
