I'm 5' 8.5" and I don't notice guys being much taller than me here in the states honestly. there's the occasional 6' (my oldest son is 6') but it doesn't stand out as tall to me anymore

They must’ve been hiding when I was there for a month. Almost everyman was close to my height 5”6/ 166 cm’s. I felt tall for the first time! Usually in London I’m under some blokes armpit on the tube!

My dad's side is tall and mom's side short. 😭 My cousins on dad side are 5'6"-5'7" (girls) and 5'10"-6'2"(guys) and mom side girls are like 4'9-5-3" girls and boys 5'6-5'10 and 5'10 is my bro.

No, they wear lifts in Korea. They even sell socks woth lifts in them lol. Go to any shoe store and notice the padding.

Exaggerating much no? I’m 5’9 and i was taller than the average (under 30) in hongdae/myongdong. But of course some were very tall but it’s a minority compared to western/nothern europe

It's just nutrition and epigenetic changes in the population. During the Korean War People were starving and that effected height and genetic memory so they were short for a few generations.
