BMD & shepherd owner here: even with a high velocity dryer you’ll still be brushing a lot. They are worth buying (more helpful with coarse vs fine/long hair), but still keep that brushing arm ready😂

That's too much work. High velocity dryer is the only way to deshed. I warn my neighbors about the tornado of fur and I'm done in an hour, bath & all.
