Running a 2” pump and electric chem pump we had to be careful or we’d get the water in before all the chemical. Switched to cheap 1” water pump for

when your by your self and have to mix everything when loading a 2 inch works just fine. I have to run my motor at a little above and idle otherwise I don't get a good mix and everything in

having big water on hand is more valuable than size of pump. tell them to pound sand

I have done 8 minutes for a Liberty 115 plus 12.5 jug from park brake on to off. 3” Hypro pump 3” system. You’re not wasting much time

Haha I should stitch this, probably takes me 20 minutes with a handler 3 because the Venturi is so slow, if I was just pumping water it would probably be 6-8 minutes or so

Your system fine !! I’m thinking wind would be more of a damper than filling

I’ve got a simple old system just like it. I have 3” pump and I’m only around 8 minutes. It’s nice to get outside. Walk around and stretch the old legs.

I drive my sprayer in dugout, fills in 37.8 seconds and that's only because I'm so fat it takes me that long to open the door

FarmerRyan🇨🇦 :
A 3” handler wouldn’t cost hundreds of thousands, maybe $4k, and would cut your fill time by roughly half.

Logistics is what it comes down too. That’s where you save time. 10min time savings is nothing if you have to wait for the water guy to come. You might get an extra tank off in a big day.

maybe you're alone and that's not too bad if so. if you had help, they could be mixing all of this in a shuttle while you're spraying. then sprayer is only down for 5 minutes, no folding needed

The only time waster I see is not having your car trailer hooked up to your semi water trailer. Less things to move to the field.

This is definitely debatable…a few more factors go into the “spraying seen” than a person realizes. Gotta dial it in to what works for you and your acres. High five to anyone involved in this.

With a hypro pump we can fill in 6.5 minutes. Phone dash system is probably the best but we have a chembine and it’s pretty good for the price

I have the same chem handler as you. Was 2” converted it to 3 with the Hypro venturi now I average 6 minutes seat to seat on a 1200gal sprayer

Brandyn Campbell :
I used to think I wanted a 3” system. But depending on the tank mix I sometimes have to turn the pump off and go dump the last couple jugs in the top because I couldn’t get all the chemical in in time
