The fact that observing or measuring something changes it still blows my mind

Crazy how literally everything in the universe is technically just the exact same thing, if you zoom in close enough

what will blow peoples mind even more is.... that there is only one single electron in the universe

Not Rick explaining this better than my chem teacher I paid money to you know, actually teach me. 🙄

Don't Askme :
If this were true then chemistry couldn't happen because chemistry depends on electrons being in specific orbitals.

how does stimulated emission such as in ruby laser work then?

Perigrine3 :
The weirdest part is that, by observing electrons, and other subatomic particles, youre changing how they move so orbital patterns might not be legitimate.

Just a thought but what if there is only one electron that exists in all places simultaineousely creating a wave that binds everything together

They taught electron cloud in like 5th grade. If people don’t know, they’re willfully ignorant.

Wait-wait, hear me out. What if electrons fast soooo fast that superposition is just side effect of its speed?

Austin :
what if you could measure an electron millions of times per second as it orbits? would you be able to track a consistent path that it took or would it appear in random places?

Tldr; scientific inaccuracy in measuring means that we don’t really know

Life itself generates reality around it in real time. Exponentially increasing ea obv. If all observation capable life discontinued observing at the exact same time, would the universe cease to exist?

But my professor still wants me to k ow where and how many electrons are in the s and p orbitals. .

they follow orbitals but its actually called an electron cloud of where that electron is most likely to be at any given moment because that is the simplest form that this atom can take

I think electrons are lower dimensions. they can't be described in "3D" without sharing a dimension with a measuring particle.

nobody gets probability clouds, and how their infinite nature makes them a fluid, where everything that can exist, exists
