I wanted to birth squatting but the doc came in to do a little practice push before he got gowned up while I was still laying in bed and the baby came out

in 1995 my 1st baby was told if I asked about moving to another position to labor one more time the Dr would order me strapped down 💔

My doctor literally said she’s not trained to deliver in any other position. They flipped me onto my back while pushing him out. Ascension hospital in Racine wi is awful

I was forced all 4 births to freaking lay on my back and push! I just gave birth a month ago and I could use/feel my legs with the epidural and would've appreciated a different position!

I asked my nurse for anything other than my back, my labor came on quickly and I was pushing on my back. She broke out into hysterical laughter and shouted out “not the one thing you asked for!”

My nurse for my first labor experience just threw my leg over her shoulder and grabbed my hand to push. She’s my hero. 🤩😂
