Totally agree with you about Legends. You can scrap almost all of book 4 and condense 5 and 6 into one book. Still worth pushing through though.

I loved Legends of the First Empire. I do agree that the first three books are stronger then the last three but I still enjoyed all of them. I was swept away by book one. literally.

Echoes Saga definitely is structured in three Trilogies, I enjoyed all of them, but I prefer the first and last trilogies.
