I would absolutely contest that it absolutely does have a flavour. But I’m a chef and my palate is pretty refined. But I can absolutely taste msg in food. I love msg, but yeah. I can definitely taste

I’m genuinely allergic but to a compound in only one type of MSG/flavour enhancer and it’s in other preservatives. Definitely a misconception that it’s MSG in general to blame

My husband is Chinese and cooks with it a lot. I have had chronic migraines my whole life and they’re triggered intensely by too much MSG. So yes it can cause headaches 😭
