real talk, the "you have to keep your room clean too" thing is so true. as a kid I felt so resentful about being told to clean my room because my parents were even bigger slobs than me

It’s not always instantaneous for women either. I didn’t properly bond with mine until she was nearly 1 and finally let me get more than 2 hours of sleep a night 😅

I’m not a parent, but I coach small kids and I highly recommend it to anyone who plans on having kids. I have learned so much about how they learn as they grow. And I get to give them back lol

I told my dad about the picking up thing when I was 18 and he picked me up under my arms and tossed me in the air like I was a baby😂
